However I am in the midst of a dispute with Wimdu who have made a mistake in a booking, yet are charging ME as the host for their error. It is not a lot of money, but in principle many of you will agree with me that dealing with someone who does not admit their mistakes nor give a good customer, (especially a fellow travel professional) the benefit of the doubt is not someone I will gladly give money to. You may book here if you wish, but I recommend you find the same flat on air bnb where you will get a cheaper deal.

Our flat on Edinburgh's landmark Calton Hill was built in the 1770s and still retains much of its historic charm. A 2 minute walk to Princess Street, it is almost impossible to get a more central location. The flat consists of 3 bedrooms and a cozy box room with a single bed. The master bedroom has a double bed and private sink. The guest bedroom has 2 single beds. The rear room has a picture window with a panoramic view of north Edinburgh and a double bed.
The sitting room is beautifully appointed with leather couch and lounge chairs; with TV, DVD & VHS. The kitchen is a classic "farmer's kitchen" with traditional Rayburn cooker, dishwasher and usual equipment.
A private garden inside a lovely cast iron gated front yard and listed wrought-iron window boxes make this property a real gem of a find in Edinburgh.
PARKING - on the street nearby there is 'pay and display' parking - at about £2 per hour, enforced on weekdays & saturday (this may change, check the signs) There is a parking garage nearby for cheaper longer term stays. You can park temporarily in front of flat to load/unload.

Lovely nice appartment. Central located. We were a group of seven adults. Better for a small group. Can recommend it.
This is a lovely flat in a perfect location at the end of Princes Street really near Waverley station. The agent was great, he met us quite late on the Friday night to show us round and was really helpful. The flat itself is spacious, clean and well furnished. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The location is just perfect; you are within 1-2 minutes at Princess Street and Regent Gardens is almost your backyard. A grocery is just around the corner. The flat is cozy and comfortable and as described. We enjoyed the stay very much (3 adults 2 children) and if we are next time in Edinburgh we will be back again.
The flat ist located in the middle of Edinburgh right next to Waverley station. You reach every spot within minutes. The house is comfy and has nice rooms. I contactet Gordon once about the apartment and got an answer almost immediately.
I'm looking forward to another stay in this nice apartment.
I really can recommend this flat. It was very silent but in the middle of the town. We took the bus only when we visited the royal yacht "Britannia", on all other days we just walked. Great!
Stayed in this flat in Feb' 12; we were a party of 2 adults and 4 children, and it suited perfectly. The flat itself is generously proportioned, well furnished and the view is great.
It is SO close to the centre I couldn't believe our luck. Station, restaurants, cinema, shops and Tesco Express & Sainsburys Local are all within a 5 min walk.
The host uses an agent, but he was very accommodating.. even lending an iPhone charger. I really couldn't praise this apartment enough!!
I loved it, it was brilliant. The place was clean and very close to the station which was handy as well as the nearby shops. The place was so beautiful that people walking pass kept stopping to take pictures. I was also close to a nearby park and our Host was lovely and met us on the day we arrived.
